German Teacher & Teacher of Humanities in German
Working within our German department in Secondary KS3 you would teach all aspects of German language and literature and also human sciences to students within our German stream.
Many of these students are fluent, bilingual or have been learning in German for half the week throughout their primary education, therefore, fluent German to a near native level is required.
The successful candidate will also take on the teaching of German as a third language option, these students would be new to the language in secondary.
You would join a multinational and multilingual community of staff, committed to the students and furthering the bilingual and broad curriculum ethos of our unique state school.
Europa is nestled in rural Oxfordshire but only 10 miles from central Oxford and less than 2.5 to Abingdon.

We have beautiful listed buildings in a stunning situation in the countryside and we do offer on-site parking.
Many staff have their children here and benefit from low cost after-school childcare and holiday clubs. The on site pre-school, Kiddylinguistics, is also very practical for parents of young children.
We are flexible as well, with 80% of our staff working part-time, we try and mostly succeed to fit the timetable around your needs, especially with lots of notice.
All our teachers are enrolled in the Teachers' Pension Scheme
