Governance Lead & Executive Assistant to the Board job summary
SAND Academies Trust are looking to appoint Governance Lead and Executive Assistant to the Board.
As our Clerk to the Board and Governance Professional you will demonstrate a passion ensuring the Trust remains compliant with relevant legislation and provide our Board and Committees with all the relevant support and guidance required.
The Role
It is
likely you are or have been in a similar role previously and have an understanding of
governance.
This a key role in the Trust ensuring we remain compliant with all our statutory duties
and regulatory responsibilities whether this be under charity, company or education
law. You will ensure that all Trust business is undertaken within the articles of
association and scheme of delegation and support the Chair and other Trustees to
ensure the board and its committees function effectively and efficiently, providing
information in an accurate and timely manner between the board, its committees
and the Trust’s senior executives. You will also support our Board of Trustees with
planning meetings, minutes and providing supporting papers.
