Exciting opportunity: St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust is looking for a Governance Partner to join our central team — a senior role with real impact across 64 schools. You’ll provide expert governance support, helping shape and strengthen practices while ensuring schools are led with integrity, excellence, and faith.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Deliver exceptional governance support to our 22 schools in Wolverhampton & the Black Country.

    • Oversee key governance processes, including admissions, complaints, and permanent exclusions.

    • Work closely with the Senior Governance Partner to maintain robust governance and compliance frameworks.

    • Provide administrative and organisational support to Chief Operating People Officer

    We’re looking for:

    • A motivated and experienced governance professional.

    • Proven experience delivering outstanding governance support in schools or education settings.

    • Strong organisational and communication skills, with confidence advising senior leaders.

      Location: Any location in Region 3, Wolverhampton & Black Country

      Contract: 37 hours per week, full time with flexibility of reducing term time weeks to meet suitable candidate needs.

      Working Pattern: Flexible working, some evening meetings and travel required (expenses reimbursed).
