Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them thrive in their early educational journey? Do you have a strong background in delivering Read Write Inc. phonics and experience working with Key Stage 1 pupils?
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Redhill Primary School, a vibrant primary school committed to nurturing confident, curious, and capable learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Read Write Inc. phonics sessions in small groups and one-to-one settings.
- Provide tailored support to KS1 children, helping to raise attainment in reading, writing, and early numeracy.
- Work collaboratively with class teachers to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
- Assist in tracking pupil progress and adapting support strategies accordingly.
- Foster a positive, nurturing atmosphere that promotes resilience and a love of learning.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a proven track record of delivering Read Write Inc. phonics effectively.
- Brings experience supporting KS1 children, especially those with varying learning needs.
- Is a team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is proactive, patient, and passionate about making a difference.

Actual Salary: £18,685 - £19,280 (Pay Award Pending)
Working hours: Monday to Friday – 32.5 hours – 38 weeks plus 5 inset days

Redhill is a newly built one form entry primary school on the edge of Cannock Chase in Staffordshire.
With just over 200 children on roll and their own pre-school unit on site, they cater for children from 2 to 11 years of age and are fortunate to be able to offer smaller classes than your average primary school.
