Thank you for showing an interest in our headteacher appointment. Due to the retirement of our successful headteacher, the Academy Council and Trust Board of the DND Learning Trust are looking for a committed, enthusiastic Headteacher who will continue to drive forwards our nurturing and caring, happy school. Green Lane C of E Primary School is firmly rooted in its Christian Distinctiveness. Our mission statement, ‘Loving to Learn, Learning to Love’ is lived out by pupils and staff who thrive and flourish at our school.
Our school is dedicated to offering a safe and positive environment where children feel valued, heard, and cared for. Christian values form the foundation of our approach, guiding everything we do. We emphasise strong partnerships with parents and carers, viewing them as essential contributors to their children’s education. We look forward to regular opportunities to connect, celebrate successes, discuss progress, and explore how families can engage in their child’s learning journey.
As part of DND Learning Trust that supports 22 Church of England Schools you will work with the central team to ensure the school continues to be the best it can be.
We are looking for a headteacher who is:

- Ability to create an exceptional positive ethos within the organisation which is recognised by staff, pupils, parents, those who govern and the wider community

- Be a role model for pupils and staff
