Part-Time Handyman Vacancy
We are seeking a reliable and practical Part-Time Handyman to join our team, working conveniently outside of school hours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for flexible, term-time work.
Position Details:
Role: Part-Time Handyman - 15 hours per week
Working Hours: Outside of school hours, which are 9am until 2.15pm. Actual hours can be decided by successful candidate
Contract: 38 weeks per year (term-time only)
Salary: Grade 2 - £24,796 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours)
Key Responsibilities:
Carrying out general maintenance and repair tasks
Ensuring the premises and grounds are safe, secure, and well-maintained
Performing basic DIY tasks including minor plumbing, painting, and carpentry
Reporting and addressing any maintenance issues promptly
Supporting health and safety requirements across the site
About You:
Practical skills and experience in general maintenance or handyman work
Ability to work independently and use initiative
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Good awareness of health and safety practices
Friendly and approachable, with good communication skills
