Head of Academy job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with leadership aspirations to take the next step into a senior leadership position. Please contact the Executive Principal for a tour of the school and an informal and confidential chat about the role.
The successful Head of Academy will be:
- be an inspirational and strategic leader
- be able to secure high quality education and high standards of achievement for all pupils
- able to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides pupils with the opportunity to achieve the highest of standards
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- be able to build relationships quickly and effectively with colleagues, parents and pupils
- have significant experience of leading and developing others, in particular middle leaders
- be able to share and support the Trust’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for pupils’ personal and academic growth
- be able to liaise with the Executive Principal, SLT, Education Directors, Trust Education Support Team, teaching/support staff, external agencies and parents
- be resilient, dynamic and keen to lead by example
