Head of Art job summary
Art and Photography are very popular subjects at Beaumont and there are high numbers of students electing to study the subject in Years 10-13 (Photography offered at A level only). The department is staffed by a Head of Art, Head of Photography and three other part time Art teachers and a part time technician.
The department is accommodated over three teaching rooms and also includes a kiln room, a printing press and a darkroom. At present there are two GCSE Art groups and two GCSE Art Graphics groups across years 10 and 11. At A Level there are two Year 12 and Year 13 Photography groups and a Year 12 and a Year 13 Art group. Many students go on to study at degree level and we maintain strong relationships with past students.
We are seeking to recruit, a well-qualified and highly motivated Head of Art to join a hardworking, friendly department.
