Head of BITE job summary

An exciting opportunity is available for the right candidate to join our busy teaching team at Christleton High School. The post holder will assist in providing a first-class service to all students and staff in developing the school’s Business and ICT (BITE) department; and specifically delivering the teaching and learning of Computer Science and ICT . You should have the experience, vision and drive to make a significant contribution to the quality of teaching and learning and student outcomes across the responsibility area. The department’s courses are popular and successful, with options at both Key Stage 4 and in our large Sixth Form. There will be the opportunity to teach at all Key Stages in Computer Science and IT and BTEC qualifications.

To succeed, you will be student-focused, able to communicate with a diverse range of people, act with pace and passion and thrive on working as part of a highly-successful team. Training and mentoring will be provided as part of the induction process.
