Benefits of Working With Us

We understand that teaching is demanding, and we are committed to creating an environment where your time is spent doing what truly matters—teaching and inspiring students. Here’s how we support our staff well-being:

  • Streamlined Processes: We’ve removed written reports and formal observations, so you can focus on teaching.
  • Balanced Work-Life Schedule: After-school meetings and parents' evenings are only held on Thursdays, and there are no heavy marking expectations, checking of lesson plans, or book scrutinies. We trust our staff to deliver the best for our students.
  • Collaborative Planning Made Easy: Teams and OneNote make collaborative planning much easier, ensuring that you’re never working alone.
  • Generous PPA Allocation: Your timetable includes generous planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA) time, which is protected and can be spent at home.
  • Extra Time for Curriculum Planning: Departments are supported with additional cover for curriculum planning time when needed.
  • Flexibility: Staff are free to leave the site when not teaching, and we cover staff for personal or medical appointments, so you don’t have to worry about scheduling conflicts.
  • Exam Board Marking During School Hours: Exam board marking can be completed during the school day where gained time allows, and any gained time can be spent at home.
  • Professional Development: We offer 2 INSET days at the start of the academic year and 2 at the end of an extended October half-term, during which you’ll have the opportunity to visit other schools, gain new ideas, and establish partnerships.
  • CPD Pathways: Rather than data-driven performance management targets, we allow staff to choose a CPD Pathway that best suits their personal development goals, including participation in NPQs.

Thank you for your interest in working with us!
