We’re looking for a committed and enthusiastic Head of Business and Economics to build on the excellent foundation we have already developed. You will be an innovative, engaging leader, with a passion for delivering the very best teaching and learning experiences. We want someone who is keen to put their stamp on our department to take us to the next level, while remaining true to our Hadley roots.

It’s an excellent time to join our team. The Business and Economics department is high performing, consistently achieving strong outcomes. Business is a popular and well-respected subject within the Academy.

We deliver high-quality teaching supplemented by real life case studies, enterprise challenges, and industry leading guest speakers. We’re fortunate to be a well-resourced department, with access to iPads and a wide array of enrichment opportunities for both Business and Economics available to students.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the Business and Economics department to ensure that high quality teaching is offered to year 10 – 13 students

• Establishing a stimulating environment for all students, setting challenging targets that build on prior attainment

• Developing an engaging Business and Economics curriculum with colleagues, using innovative approaches in line with the vision and ethos of the Academy
