What skills and experience we're looking for
In response to recently confirmed staffing changes, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed Head of Childcare & Education. Offering an exciting opportunity for career development, we welcome applications from both experienced and aspiring subject leads. Whilst experience in a secondary school environment would be an advantage, we also welcome applications from those with experience from a primary background.

St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,340 students (including 334 in the sixth form) with outstanding facilities in all areas. The Academy serves Sleaford, Ruskington and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages with our main campus in Sleaford and our smaller campus in the village of Ruskington.
We are a leading member of the Sleaford Joint-Sixth Form (SJSF), a collaboration of the co-educational sixth forms of St George’s Academy and the Robert Carre Trust. The SJSF provides a full range of post 16 courses for over 700 students and is a beacon of educational provision across Lincolnshire.
