At Uppingham Community College, we are always looking to innovate and provide our students with outstanding learning experiences. We are now seeking a visionary and dynamic educator to pioneer a brand-new subject, initially at Key Stage 3, with a view to launching Computer Science GCSE in 2027.

This is a rare opportunity to design a curriculum from the ground up, shaping the way students engage with Computer Science across all key stages. You will develop schemes of work, teaching resources, and assessment strategies that are engaging, challenging, and relevant to the world our students live in.

We are committed to providing the infrastructure, support, and resources needed to bring your vision to life, including access to modern classrooms, innovative technology, and opportunities for cross-curricular collaboration. You will work closely with colleagues and senior leaders to ensure the successful integration of the subject into our wider curriculum. You will have the ambition to lead a team within Computer Science as the department develops.

This role is perfect for a creative, forward-thinking Computer Teacher who is passionate about inspiring young people and making a lasting impact. If you are excited by the prospect of leading a new curriculum and shaping its future at Uppingham Community College, we would love to hear from you.
