This is an exciting opportunity to join an established, high-performing department. We are seeking a committed, forward-thinking Head of Computing and Creative Media to build on existing success and lead the department into its next stage of development.

The department has a strong track record of achievement and sustained growth. GCSE Computer Science outcomes consistently demonstrate residuals above the national average, reflecting excellent student progress. Recruitment into BTEC Creative Media is strong and stable, with results among the best in the school.

We are proud that Post-16 Digital Media have delivered outstanding outcomes over the past two years, with all students achieving Distinction grades in all controlled assessment units. Outcomes across KS4 and KS5 media courses are among the strongest in the school, supported by a growing enrichment offer, including the recent introduction of VEX Robotics for KS4 and KS5. Our outstanding department is currently the only school in East Leeds to offer A-level Computer Science.
