Required for April or September 2020, a dynamic, enthusiastic and skilful teacher of dance to teach the full age range, including Dance GCSE (theory and practical). We are looking for an accomplished dance specialist to continue to drive improvements in academic outcomes in Dance and contribute to a rich extra-curricular offer.
Linton Village College is an Artsmark Platinum school. We are committed to offering an exceptional arts curriculum and enrichment opportunities. The Arts Faculty comprises of Art, Dance, Drama and Music. The appointed candidate will join a team of talented, committed and passionate staff. Dance is taught discretely in Years 7 and 8 and is an option from Year 9 onwards. It is an increasingly popular GCSE subject and benefits from being situated in a purpose-built studio.
The role is currently part time (3 days a week). The position could be increased to full time role if the successful candidate is able to teach PE or another second subject. We welcome applications from experienced teachers and would consider appointing a capable, newly qualified teacher to this role.
