What skills and experience we're looking for
Longfield Academy is seeking to appoint a Head of Department - Geography, joining us from September 2025. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students in this curriculum area.
We’d like to hear from you if you are:
- An excellent teacher who is passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge;
- A keen advocate for the importance of geography education as part of the curriculum;
- Have a high level of teaching experience and delivery of results;

The basis of this role is permanent and offering MPS commensurate with experience + London Fringe Allowance + TLR
