What skills and experience we're looking for

Longfield Academy is seeking to appoint a Head of Department - Geography, joining us from September 2025. We are looking for an exceptional practitioner who can deliver high-quality learning opportunities for our students in this curriculum area.

We’d like to hear from you if you are:

  • An excellent teacher who is passionate about learning and has strong subject knowledge;
  • A keen advocate for the importance of geography education as part of the curriculum;
  • Have a high level of teaching experience and delivery of results;
  • Collaborative, able to build strong professional relationships;
