Our new Head of Geography must be:
- An inspirational leader committed to providing every student the best possible learning experience
- Passionate and enthusiastic about their subject
- An outstanding teacher able to deliver excellent GCSE and A level outcomes
- An innovative practitioner with high expectations for all students
- Commitment to sharing outstanding practice and further developing boys’ success in English
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to meet assessment criteria to ensure students make exceptional progress
- Committed to further development of high-quality enrichment opportunities for all students
- Have the ability to teach Geography KS3 – KS 5.
What the school offers its staff
The school has an excellent CPD programme and is committed to developing all staff, as we continue to provide all our students with outstanding learning experiences. This includes three staff training afternoons, two department meetings and one twilight training session every 6 weeks. Lessons finish for students at 1:45 pm on a Friday.
