Head of Drama job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Drama teacher to join and lead our highly successful Drama Department, with an excellent track record of exam success, both in Drama and Theatre Studies and extracurricular achievement.
The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, with a strong commitment to Drama both in and out of the classroom. An ability to teach A-Level Drama and Theatre Studies is a requirement.
Charters School is a very heavily over-subscribed 11-18 Comprehensive Academy School with over 1700 students on roll (including over 390 in the Sixth Form) located in Sunningdale.
Drama is a highly popular and respected subject and this is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring candidate to join us and continue to develop. The excellent provision and extra-curricular opportunities in the last 3 years have included 25 trips and the productions of High School Musical, A Monster Calls and Private Peaceful have been run.
