What skills and experience we're looking for

Kesgrave High School is seeking to appoint an inspiring teacher and leader to lead the Drama Department from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful and committed team of subject specialists. As well as Drama specialists the department collaborates closely with staff in English, Music and Dance, on both teaching and extra-curricular projects.

Kesgrave High School is a large 11-19 school which has over 1850 students on roll, including over 320 students in the Sixth Form. The Drama department has a great sense of team spirit, support and collaboration and are dedicated to ensuring our students achieve the highest possible outcomes.The department has an impressive range of facilities, including well-resourced teaching rooms, studios and performance spaces. The Thomas Theatre is also used by the Department for both teaching and productions, which is a performance space with state-of-the-art sound and lighting facilities that can seat an audience of over 300. We also have the benefit of full reprographic and administrative support.
