You will take the strategic lead in delivering an engaging, knowledge-rich curriculum that inspires students to achieve exceptional progress and become confident, resilient, and articulate thinkers.

At King’s Academy Binfield, Drama is a central pillar of our curriculum and our wider vision of providing opportunity and success on a global stage. We believe in driving student success through a blend of high-level performance skills and critical analysis, enabling students to track their own progress and apply their knowledge with confidence both on and off the stage.

Our Drama provision is characterised by:

  • A strong commitment to academic success: A focus on clear progress points and high-attaining outcomes for all students.
  • Strategic autonomy: A collaborative and supportive environment where you are empowered to shape the direction of the subject.
  • A reflective approach to pedagogy: Continual improvement in teaching and learning with a focus on student growth.
  • Curriculum excellence: A clear understanding of the importance of ambitious curriculum design and high-quality delivery.
  • A genuine commitment to professional trust: Supporting leaders to flourish through wellbeing and developmental support.

As part of our all-through academy, you will benefit from working within a unique educational environment spanning Nursery to Post-16, offering opportunities to understand and shape the full student journey. Our growing Sixth Form and expanding provision create exciting possibilities for developing Key Stage 5 success and long-term career development.
