Head of Drama job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Drama Teacher seeking the next step in their career. As our new Head of Drama your enthusiastic teaching style will inspire students to explore different elements of drama, build their confidence and encourage them to take part in school productions. Over the last few years students have enjoyed wonderful trips to the theatre and participated in external workshops and we would love this to continue.

Your excellent classroom management and leadership skills will enable you to role model outstanding teaching and develop your team within the Performance Faculty whilst nurturing the talent of the students. You will be a passionate individual, strongly motivated to make yourself an active part of this diverse community.

If you are a qualified teacher with experience of teaching Years 7 to 11 (up to Year 13 would be advantageous) and have some experience of managing people we would love to hear from you. the ability to teach English to KS4 is essential.
