Head of English & Drama job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, dynamic and forward-thinking leader, to take responsibility for the English and Drama department. The department is a highly effective, supportive group of professionals who pride themselves on their collaborative approach to continually improving their pedagogy. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner in their own right and will be responsible for all aspects of leadership of the English and drama curriculums. In addition, they will have an excellent understanding of current educational research and policy, and a passion for raising standards of achievement and aspirations of all students.
