What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, inspiring and energetic teacher to lead an excellent team, as well as actively contributing to whole school priorities. The post would suit a well-qualified and experienced teacher who is able to lead a team of teachers towards further success. The English Department is consistently high performing at both GCSE and A Level. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher of English, able to inspire students and staff. He or she will also have an awareness of the importance of English across the curriculum and will actively contribute to whole school leadership. The post would equally suit a colleague who is looking to consolidate leadership of such a valuable subject, as well as to gain whole school management experience as preparation for senior leadership. In short, we are looking for the best candidate(s) who will have the greatest impact on the school and therefore our wonderful pupils.
