Head of Estates job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing Multi-Academy Trust as Head of Estates. As a member of the Trust’s Leadership Team you will contribute to the leadership of the whole Trust, generating strategic and cultural direction.

Leading, developing and co-ordinating the Trust’s estates strategy, you will ensure alignment with the Trust’s educational vision for its pupils.  You will also lead on facilities management and procurement across the Trust ensuring value for money is achieved. As Health and Safety lead for the Trust you will ensure compliance with relevant regulations in all settings. 

We are looking for a principled leader who will display consistently high standards of professional conduct. Ideally you will have experience of working in education although this is not essential. Working closely with the school leadership teams across multiple sites, you will quickly establish strong relationships with all stakeholders.

This role is fixed term to 31/8/2026 after which there may be the opportunity to extend for a further year. The role will be based at St Andrew’s CofE Primary School in Cobham with one day a week to be worked at The Priory School, Dorking. Regular travel to other ELT sites will be required.
