What skills and experience we're looking for

As Head of Film Studies at Ipswich Academy, you will support, develop and lead a team of teachers within your department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

You will also carry out the responsibilities of a Teacher of English, you will work to establish for children, a caring environment in which each child will be nurtured and encouraged to develop their potential in English.

The successful candidate will have the drive ability to provide effective curriculum planning and implementation of Film Studies across all key stages. You will be responsible for managing the work of all staff in your department, ensuring through consistent implementation, that the academy meets all of its obligations to staff and pupils.
