Head of Football job summary
We are looking for an experienced football coach, ideally with a UEFA B qualification, or prepared to work towards. A desire to support our Academy in ensuring our pupils have as many opportunities as possible to reach their potential. You will be dynamic, resilient and motivated with a willingness to uphold our high expectations to secure ‘Outstanding Achievement for All’.
This is an exciting role for the right candidate to work with our Principal to establish and grow the All Saints Football Academy. This is a unique opportunity to combine education and football for boys and girls of all ability levels. Duties will include planning and delivering coaching sessions and varied programmes of sport specific activities, reviewing player progress and managing players technical and tactical development.
Candidates should hold or be willing to work towards achieving an UEFA B license, have experience of working as a professional football coach and have an ability to build strong links and networks with local schools and community grassroots football clubs. An excellent communicator you will have the ability to work well with and motivate students of both primary and secondary ages.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience coaching youth football or related activities
- Strong knowledge of football techniques, rules, and strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
- Relevant coaching certification or willingness to obtain
