Aylward Academy is seeking an exceptional Head of Geography to lead our dedicated team and inspire the next generation of geographers.
As the Head of Geography, you will provide strategic leadership and management to a collaborative and dynamic department. With a commitment to excellence, you will ensure that every student receives an outstanding education, creating a love for Geography while driving high levels of achievement at Key Stages 4 and 5.

We are seeking someone with:
* Qualified Teacher Status
* A proven track record of excellent teaching and results in Geography
* Ability to lead, coach, and support others to deliver outstanding lessons
* Creativity, who is innovative, strategic, and passionate about developing Geography as a subject
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team

About Aylward Academy
Based in Edmonton, North London, Aylward Academy was established in September 2010 and is an 11-19 learning community with over 1,000 students on roll, including a thriving sixth form. Aylward is situated within a diverse and vibrant London community. Many of our students have English as an additional language, and a significant proportion are entitled to the Pupil Premium. The School is currently rated as GOOD by its last Ofsted inspection in July 2021.
