Head of Geography job summary
Key responsibilities for the role include
Main Purpose:
- To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the department and to monitor and support student progress.
- To be accountable for student progress and development within the department.
- To develop & enhance the teaching practice involved in the delivery of Geography.
- To ensure the provision of an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students studying in the department.
- To be accountable for leading, managing and developing the department.
- To manage and deploy teaching staff and physical resources within the department effectively to support the department development plan.
