The successful candidate will:
- Be able to lead, manage, develop and be accountable for the department and curriculum at Key Stages 3, 4, & 5 in Geography
- Be accountable within the department for; the strategic direction and development of the subject, teaching and learning, leading and managing staff, pupil progress and standards of achievement and the efficient and effective deployment of staff and resources
- Deliver effective and high quality learning experiences to all of our students with a collaborative approach to teaching and learning
- Be a well-qualified teacher with excellent subject knowledge and the ability to teach well across the 11-19 age range.
- Be influential and committed to getting the best outcomes for the students in our school
- Be committed to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, the principles and practice of equal opportunities and the safeguarding all young people
