Head of History and Politics job summary

Oak Wood School is seeking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher to lead our thriving History and Politics department. Applications are welcome from experienced teachers able to teach History throughout the ability range at Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. Excellent support is available from a very experienced team. All students study History at Key Stage 3 and it is a popular option at Key Stage 4 and continues growing in popularity at A Level. Government and Politics is offered by the department at A Level and has a strong foundation in place to develop over the coming years. We need you to have a love of teaching and a willingness to trial new ideas and be a team player who puts the good of our students at the heart of all that you do.
