Edgar Wood Academy is seeking an exceptional and ambitious Head of History to lead and develop our History provision as we continue to grow.

About the role
As Head of History, you will:
- Lead and inspire a committed History team
- Design and deliver a rich, ambitious and knowledge-led curriculum
- Drive outstanding teaching and learning
- Use data effectively to raise standards and maximise student achievement
- Play a key role in whole-school priorities such as literacy and curriculum development
You will have the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a supportive and collaborative environment, with strong leadership and clear strategic direction.

Helping our students realise their potential lies at the heart of everything we do.
