About this role
This is a senior leadership opportunity to shape the vision and direction of Humanities across the school. You will lead a high-performing team in delivering an ambitious and engaging curriculum across Geography, History, and Religious Studies, ensuring consistently excellent teaching and outcomes. The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership, including curriculum development, staff coaching, and maintaining the strong uptake and success of these subjects at GCSE. You will play a central role in fostering students’ curiosity about the world, their understanding of the past, and their ability to think critically about complex moral and global issues.
