Helston Community College, part of the Southerly Point Co-operative Multi-Academy Trust, are looking to appoint a dynamic, inspirational and hardworking individual to lead and manage the Mathematics Faculty.

We are seeking someone who:

• is a highly qualified and experienced mathematician;

• has a proven track record of delivering well-planned, creative and engaging lessons;

• achieves excellent outcomes for students across the full ability range;

• has experience of leading a mathematics department in a smaller school or a key stage in
a larger school, and is capable of inspiring our team towards a shared vision;

• will share and support the College and the Trust’s commitment to provide an all-round,
outstanding education for all our students.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach across the full age and ability range at KS3, KS4 and Post 16. The post would equally suit an experienced Head of Department or someone looking for their first Head of Faculty role.
