What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to lead the Maths Faculty. The post offers excellent opportunities for you to develop your leadership skills. We are a school focussed on growing leaders and this is an ideal post for further progression to Senior Leadership.

Maths is a thriving subject with the percentage of students consistently achieving in line with national averages for GCSE grades 9-7 and 9-5, and consistently above average for 9-4 grades. Oakwood is looking to appoint a motivated and committed Head of Maths with a passion for teaching Maths throughout Key Stages 3 and 4.

Oakwood is a large and expanding school of over 1500 students. We have split the population into ‘Years’ which enables the students to be cared for in smaller units.
