Head of Mathematics / Maths Teacher job summary

We are seeking to appoint a Head of Department with the determination to sustain and develop the passion for mathematics in the school. This is the opportunity to lead an outstanding team of professionals who teach girls who are enthusiastic, engaged and excited about learning mathematics. Over 45% of Sixth Formers study Maths to A level and there is a strong tradition of girls taking Further Mathematics.

The successful candidate must have strong leadership and management ability, be committed to high standards for students and staff, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to take part in Department and whole school events.
