The position
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at The Mandeville School as Head of Maths. We are deeply committed to providing students with an environment in which they can achieve.
The successful candidate will lead the Maths team, working alongside the SLT and our student support team, to create an environment where learning thrives and students maintain the highest standards of behaviour. The Mandeville School is committed to the safeguarding and wellbeing of its students and expects all staff to do the same.
This role would suit a candidate who already has leadership experience or a motivated and successful teacher looking for the additional challenge of leading a team. Candidates must show a keen knowledge of Geography curriculum intent and implementation.
This role includes the line management of the teachers in the department, the strategic development of the subject area and the continued improvement of student’s attainment in the subject from KS3 to KS5.
