Our school is a popular all-through academy in South Bristol with an oversubscribed primary phase (two-form entry) and a growing secondary phase, likely to be oversubscribed in September 2025. We are looking for an outstanding Head of Mathematics to lead our dynamic and successful department. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum planning, assessment, and the development of high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4. Job Purpose
The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the Maths department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning across all key stages. The Head of Maths will be responsible for raising achievement and progress in mathematics, supporting and developing a team of teachers through effective leadership, contributing to whole-school improvement as a key middle leader and upholding our BRIDGE values.
