This role will be based at City Academy which is an 11-16 co-educational school. You will be joining an academy team whose sole aim is to ensure that all students get the very best support, care and guidance that enables them to achieve their very best. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking a dynamic Head of Maths to build upon our strengths and lead the Maths department forward on the next stage of our journey. The successful candidate will be passionate and be able to demonstrate how they will drive the standards, expectations and aspirations of staff and students alike to ensure that there is regular success and a sense of progression. You must be a strong role model for staff within Maths and direct the pedagogy and methodology of delivery for all lessons within Maths. The successful applicant will demonstrate an understanding of the value of providing our students with a broad educational experience, where high academic standards are supported by a rich variety of extended curriculum options.
