What skills and experience we're looking for
With effect from September 2024, we are seeking to appoint an innovative and outstanding Head of Maths Faculty to lead a highly successful and progressive faculty. This is a key role in the next phase of our development from a Good to Outstanding School.
We are looking to appoint an inspirational leader with experience of curriculum development. You will be an outstanding teacher with the drive and commitment to grow and further develop the Maths Faculty and make a significant contribution to whole school improvement. The successful candidate will be a designated member of the Senior Management Team who will be required to lead Mathematics provision at KS3, KS4 and KS5 to the highest standard and make a positive strategic difference to Academy life.
We are looking for a passionate leader who brings their subject to life to complement the existing team. A willingness to support the Academy ethos and support extra-curricular activities within the Maths Faculty is essential. The successful applicant will lead the curriculum design and development process and look for opportunities to develop the wider Mathematics curriculum.
Interviews are expected to take place during the week commencing Monday 22 April 2024 and shortlisted applicants will be contacted by email with details of the arrangements. The post will be offered subject to enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) clearance.
