The Trust’s vision is “Where Everyone Succeeds” and we put our staff at the heart of everything we do to create a team spirit in our highly successful schools. Are you an outstanding Maths practitioner and leader who is able to challenge the most-able students, support less confident learners and make learning inclusive and accessible to all? This unique opportunity offers the right candidate the chance to play a wide-ranging and integral role in a successful department at Falmouth School and across The Roseland Multi-Academy Trust. As a leader you will be highly skilled at managing and developing your team and ensure the department contributes to the overall success of the school. All Falmouth School staff recently contributed to defining their staff cultures. We all subscribe to these cultures and we expect that any new member of staff would do too. The Falmouth School staff cultures are; o I am considerate of others and support students and staff as best I can; o I enjoy working at Falmouth and want to contribute towards its growth; o I show empathy and consider the impact of my actions on everyone in our community; o I am a team player and value the positive contribution made by every member of Team Falmouth; o I am kind, open and considerate and value this from others; o I am resilient and open to new ways of working to solve problems; o I value everyone's contribution and believe that when we work together we will do our best; o I set myself high standards and enjoy celebrating when others succeed; o I act with integrity and honesty and aim to be a role model to students and staff; o I promote a learning environment where everyone feels happy, safe and secure; o I reflect on my practice and know it’s OK to ask for guidance; o I love what I do and I am passionate about enriching the lives of young people. If our ethos and cultures appeal to you and you can inspire our students and fellow colleagues, we look forward to receiving your application for this post. Our Ofsted inspection in 2019 does not reflect our current school or our rapid improvement journey. Our school has an inclusive environment where everyone feels able to participate and achieve their potential. Our school strive for passion for learning, thirst for knowledge and courage to embrace all challenges in learning with resolute determination. We expect everyone to be able to enjoy a learning environment that is disruption free and where exciting learning happens every minute of the day and we all pursue these highest standards: adults and students. We expect everyone to achieve their best every day and our sense of belonging is mighty as we are a ‘Falmouth Family’.
