Head of Maths job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher seeking the next step in their career to work with the Head of Maths and Data Sciences Faculty and Lead Practitioner to raise student attainment and achievement and support pupil progress.

Our successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher, able to lead with assurance and clarity on curriculum, teaching, learning and innovation within Mathematics. You will be a passionate individual, strongly motivated to make yourself an active part of this diverse community.

If you are a qualified teacher with experience of teaching Maths to KS4 (KS5 would be desirable) and some experience of managing people we would love to hear from you.

We follow STPCD and support staff can join the LGPS. ECT’s follow an established induction programme while more experienced staff are able to join our leadership training programmes. Many among our teaching staff enrol in our school-based MA programme run in conjunction with St Mary's University.
