Leading the Department

You will be an excellent teacher with the experience to deliver in KS3 and KS4, but more importantly, you will have the leadership qualities to challenge individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. You will lead a well-equipped department operating out of seven classrooms based in a dedicated maths wing.

  • Unrivalled Support: Becoming Head of Maths in this amazing school is a rewarding challenge. From your first day, you’ll have a very experienced mentor from our School Improvement Team to guide you, alongside phenomenal support from our Principal and Senior Leadership team.
  • Strategic Collaboration: We are committed to delivering the best possible mathematics curriculum. You will work strategically with Trust mathematics leaders, a network of outstanding Heads of Mathematics, and Senior Leaders across the Outwood Family of Schools.
  • Driving Success: You will play a crucial role in contributing substantially to the ongoing success of GCSE outcomes, providing effective support to colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for all students.
