Head of Maths job summary
Smith’s Wood Academy isn’t just a school. It’s a place that changes lives. At the heart of Fairfax Multi-Academy Trust, we serve 780 students spanning years seven to eleven. Two-thirds of our pupils are from disadvantaged backgrounds. You’ll help ensure that they leave us with real belief in their own abilities and the confidence to aim high.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time Head of Maths whose primary role is to lead and manage the Department throughout the school, having oversight of the curriculum and to ensure the quality of teaching and learning of Maths through all Key Stages.
You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, an excellent classroom practitioner and have proven leadership skills.
