Head of Media with TLR job summary

We are seeking an inspiring and ambitious Head of Media to lead our successful subject area at Orion Eden Park. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or current middle leader to take ownership of a dynamic department, driving high standards of teaching and learning while ensuring excellent outcomes for all students.

As Head of Media, you will be responsible for leading curriculum development, monitoring student progress, and embedding innovative and engaging teaching practices across the department. You will play a key role in shaping a broad, balanced, and ambitious curriculum that motivates students and supports them to achieve their full potential. Working closely with senior leaders and the wider faculty team, you will contribute to whole-school improvement, ensuring consistency, quality, and a culture of high expectations.

We are looking for a passionate and reflective practitioner with strong subject knowledge, proven teaching success, and the ability to lead, motivate, and develop others. You will be committed to continuous improvement, have excellent organisational and communication skills, and demonstrate a clear drive to make a positive impact on students’ academic and personal development.
