Ormiston NEW Academy, recently graded Ofsted 'Good', is a school based on a clear and defined pedagogical model and explicitly taught behavioural norms. This is creating a place of joy, industry and excellence that is rapidly growing. The latest inspection report praises the school’s leaders for creating a "culture where positive behaviour and discipline are celebrated". It says that NEW Academy is a “vibrant school”, that students “enjoy coming to” and where they are “safe”. Students at NEW Academy understand that they must try their best and strive for excellence at all times,” In the most recent Ofsted inspection one student told inspectors, “I know that today will not be my best, because tomorrow will be better”.
We are looking for someone who can lead a department and be accountable for the leadership, management and development of Subject. They will also be responsible for raising the standards of attainment in MFL at all key stages.

Ormiston NEW Academy caters for 11 to 19-year olds, with 1007 students on roll, we provide a vibrant learning environment with first-class facilities. Our Academy is a member of Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT) which is one of the largest not-for-profit multi-academy trusts in England. OAT educates over 30,000 pupils across six English regions, in 31 secondary schools, seven primary schools and one special school. They are one of the longest established trusts and have been sponsoring academies since 2009. Their mission is to become the Trust that makes the biggest difference, both inside and outside the classroom.
