Our Opportunity

Filey School is looking to appoint an exceptional Head of MfL to join us in September 2025. This role presents a brilliant opportunity to play a pivotal part in the improvement journey of the school. As a leader, you will be relentless in your drive to ensure that all students, regardless of their background, can achieve to the best of their ability. You will bring energy, enthusiasm and a love of learning that you’ll aim to instil in the students you serve. Our Spanish results are strong and you will be able to enjoy teaching students who are keen to learn and who will value your expertise and love of subject. You will be ambitious for better and better outcomes for our students, believing in the joy and value of studying a language. Come and lead the MFL team and be part of offering a brilliant educational experience for our students.

Filey Secondary School

Filey School is an 11-16 mixed community school serving the coastal town of Filey and its surrounding villages. We have a proud heritage in our local community and are embarking on a period of transformation and improvement.
