Shape a thriving MFL department, develop a culture of linguistic excellence, and leave a lasting impact on a dynamic and ambitious school community. With a commitment to high-quality teaching, cultural enrichment, and professional development, this is your opportunity to lead and inspire.
Are you a passionate linguist who believes in the power of languages to shape futures? Do you want the freedom and support to lead an outstanding MFL department within a school that values cultural understanding, inclusivity, and academic excellence? If so, we want to hear from you!
At KSA, we are committed to providing a rich and engaging MFL curriculum that ensures students develop both linguistic fluency and a deep appreciation for global cultures. With a focus on German, French, and Spanish, our curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, foster confidence, and prepare students to engage with the wider world. We are now seeking a Head of MFL to drive forward our vision, expand opportunities for language learning, and ensure our students develop the skills and confidence to communicate effectively in multiple languages.

This reflects our commitment to high-quality language education and the dedication of our teaching team. Additionally, we are fortunate to benefit from the expertise of the MFL Subject Director from the Brooke Weston Trust, who provides invaluable support in curriculum development, ensuring our approach is both innovative and highly effective.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and ambitious MFL specialist to shape and develop the department, ensuring high standards of teaching, learning, and curriculum innovation. You will have the autonomy to lead and inspire a team of dedicated language teachers, fostering a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to language education.
What We Offer:
🌍 A well-established MFL department with a strong foundation in French, German, and Spanish.
📚 A dynamic and forward-thinking curriculum that encourages linguistic proficiency and cultural appreciation.
💡 The opportunity to develop and embed innovative teaching strategies, including digital learning and immersive language experiences.
✈️ Support for international trips, language immersion experiences, and cultural exchanges.
📖 A collaborative and ambitious teaching team, committed to student success.
🎓 A school that values professional development, offering CPD and leadership training to support your growth.
What We’re Looking For:
🗣️ A passionate and experienced MFL teacher with a strong background in French and/or German and Spanish.
🎯 A visionary leader who can drive forward curriculum development and student outcomes.
📢 A teacher who can inspire students to develop a love for languages and global cultures.
🤝 A collaborative and supportive leader, eager to mentor and develop colleagues.
🚀 A commitment to inclusive education, ensuring every student can succeed in MFL.
