King James Academy Royston is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Head of Modern Foreign Languages to join our dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher to lead our successful department at our school that was recently inspected as a “good” school by Ofsted (September 2024). We currently offer Spanish to enthusiastic pupils starting from Year 5, from Year 8 some students study French as a second language. A growing number of pupils study MFL at GCSE.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead a small team of highly qualified and motivated teachers, ensuring continued excellence in teaching and learning. You will have the opportunity to inspire both students and staff, with a strong focus on developing teaching practices and student progress. This role includes organising educational trips and visits to enhance learning experiences.
