The Role

As Head of MFL, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Modern Foreign Languages department, with a focus on delivering excellent outcomes for all students.
  • Play a key role in developing curriculum strategy and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Inspire and support colleagues to innovate in the classroom and drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to wider school life, championing inclusion, academic excellence, and personal development.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with strong experience teaching Spanish across KS3 and KS4.
  • Has a proven track record of improving outcomes and driving whole-school improvement.
  • Is passionate about developing others and creating an inspiring culture of learning.
  • Brings energy, integrity, and a deep commitment to the success and wellbeing of all students.
