The Role
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational Head of Modern Foreign Languages who will:
- Lead and manage the MFL curriculum, ensuring excellent outcomes for all learners.
- Inspire, motivate, and develop staff within the department.
- Drive high standards in teaching, learning, and assessment.
- Contribute to the wider leadership of the school and play a key role in raising aspirations and achievement.
- Ensure our students have access to a broad and ambitious languages curriculum that supports their next steps in education, training, or employment.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven track record of raising attainment.
- Have strong subject knowledge, particularly in Spanish (up to GCSE).
- Demonstrate the vision, drive, and commitment to lead a successful department.
- Be a collaborative leader who can inspire colleagues and students alike.
